Foothills Quilters is a small group of enthusiastic, creative quilters who gather to share ideas, share our work, and learn new skills.
These are just a few of the quilts our members have made for charity so far this year.
July Meeting ! !
We'll try again...
Our June meeting was rained out, but here's hoping for the sunny days of July:
The guild will meet on our normal day and time, Tuesday, July 21 at 1:00 PM.
We will meet outside at the shelter at Elkin Municipal Park which will keep us out of the sun while providing places to sit.
Masks are encouraged but not required. Social distancing should be observed.
Members should bring their own drinks and snacks if they wish to eat and drink.
There will be no program other than to discuss what we’ve been doing while on lock down and to share through show and tell all our projects.
Members who have made masks during the virus should be prepared to share how many they’ve made and to what group or facility they were supplied. We would love to give this information to Bill Colvard for a story in the Elkin Tribune.
Anyone bringing a quilt top to be passed to our long-arm quilters must call Carol (336-526-5159) to make sure backing is ready.
We want everyone to feel safe and cared for. If anyone needs any help just let one of the officers know and we’ll do our best.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the 21!
